Member Matters

As we continue to explore ways to reduce our carbon footprint, as well as communicate with our members in a more timely fashion, we’re looking at ways to use more electronic and online communications. Though some of you may already be following us on Twitter or be a fan of us on Facebook, we encourage the rest of you to connect with us via social media. E-mail and social media is more environmental and timely, and allows us to stay in touch with you better than traditional “snail mail.”

Combined with the ever climbing costs of postage, it also helps the Science Center save money by cutting down on paper renewal reminders and postcards about events. This is money we can put directly into our programming and exhibits to give you a better experience when you visit the museum.

Of course to do that, we need to make sure we can reach you via e-mail! Do we have a current e-mail address for you?

Please take a moment to send an e-mail to with your most up-to-date contact info. Of course, if you would rather hear from us via regular mail or do not have e-mail contact information, please let us know that as well!

We want to make sure we’re communicating with you in a way that suits your needs.

Thank you again for being a member of the Detroit Science Center!
