EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES OF VOLUNTEERING
Whether you are a science professional or a science enthusiast, we have two volunteer organizations and lots of opportunities to explore.

If you have a background in science, engineering, medicine or technology and want to share your knowlege and passion for science, become a PI Society Volunteer. As an expert, you'll be stationed in one of our five exhibit laboratories conducting science demonstrations, laboratory tours and sharing your expertise to enhance the visitor experience.

Whether or not you have knowledge of science, we still need you. Newton Society Volunteers support the overall operations of the Science Center.

  • Guest Services and Membership
    Greet guests and answer questions about Science Center programs, services and membership programs.
  • Special Events
    Special event vounteers assist with programs and events on an on-call basis.
  • Office Assistance
    Work behind the scenes by providing essential administrative support such as mailings, data entry and filing.

Requirements
  • Age 16 or older
  • Minimum of 50 hours per year
  • A desire to contribute to the community
