WANTED: PIT CREW TEAMS, GEARHEADS
AND LUGNUTS TO BEAT THE CLOCK
AT THE DETROIT SCIENCE CENTER!

The Detroit Science Center is pleased to announce our Pit Crew Challenge! This
exciting competition will be held at Future Cruisin’ 2010 on Thursday, Aug. 19
through Sunday, Aug. 22.

Modeled after a NASCAR racing pit stop, this fast-paced event challenges pit
crew teams of six adults (all Grease Monkeys and Greaser Girls must be 18 and
over) to perform three electronically timed tasks:
1. Change four NASCAR Superslick Wheels
2. Wash the windshield
3. Fill the gas tank with simulated super-powered fuel

So put together your best team of co-workers, friends or family, and come on
down to compete against other teams for trophies, cash, prizes and lots of cool
give-aways!

PIT CREW PROS
COST: $250 (register by July 23); $275 (July 24 to Aug.13)

GEARHEADS
COST: $120 (can pre-register or register day of the event)

LUGNUTS
COST: $5 per person
